Good find Sundowner ... I can't see why Hartley's would be concerned about the concept of heap-leaching. From what I've researched, heap-leaching can be one of the most economically viable ways of extracting gold and has been used for hundreds of years. Mind you, I also read that "The production of one gold ring through this method, can generate 20 tons of waste material".
