No thanks, I like liquid assets like stocks, and cash and a few shorter term bank deposits.

Gold coins under the mattress isn't my style. I dabbled with a couple of gold shares a few years back but not these days.

Anyway the last time the HUI was at this level gold was around $1100/$1200, so it's still probably way too expensive.

Even when stocks blast off the HUI's broken down on the starting grid which means gold going to the moon is like dreaming of winning lotto.
