Agree you take your chances, sometimes things do not go to plan. I bought a block off the plan in East Fremantle. Redevelopment of an old trotting track, was going to be paved roads, landscaped park and designer houses. One town planner at city of East Freo stuffed the whole estate up. Hippy ideas, single garages, no flash parks, cottages for workers. The developer sold the unit site to DHA the houses built were cheap project homes. Better to cut my loss and walk away rather than sink more into something that was not working. Learnt my lesson.
