Integrated service provider WDS Limited (ASX:WDS) says it’s in talks to resolve its dispute with Peabody Energy Australia Limited (ASX:MCC).
The dispute relates to contracted work at its Metropolitan mine in Helensburgh in New South Wales.
Peabody suspended work at the site last month and sought to terminate its contract with WDS.
WDS expects to undertake work on the Metropolitan project to a value of $5.3 million before the end of the financial year.
WDS reported a half year net profit of $3.3million to 31 December 2011.
