I know it's all been said before, but why bring Lynas back to WA? Even if it were physically possible?
The LAMP need water - loads of it. Not too much of that on a year-round basis in WA, but plenty in Malaysia.
LAMP also needs raw materials - and at Gebeng, they are just round the corner or down the street - literally. Not thousands of Km away.
And finally, most of the high tech firms that use the output of the LAMP - such as Siemens, BASF, Dell, Intel, etc etc are in Malaysia - not in WA.
That post of yours sounds suspiciously like one of the anti-Lynas brigade posts....
The big difference between the Tassie pulp-mill or the Franklin Dam, is that they would have been environmental disasters.
The Lynas plant is NOT.
