I had a different train of thinking today and was considering my options for my sizable hastie investment. Something occured to me that I'd never considered before and I'm intrested in someone either shooting down my arguement or telling me if I'm on the right track.

I'm a tradie first and foremost however I do have some finance knowledge so intrested in hearing from those Who can point me into direction of where to start to find out whether this can be achieved or not.

Basically something clicked in my head when I thought about the rotary business. The loans in regards to rotary are non-recourse. So basically if the banks pulled the plug on Hastie loans they can't touch the Rotary business. Now I believe Hastie paid in the order of 290Mil for the rotary business and at current market cap Hastie is worth 22Mil. This means if it was wound up we would end up with an asset say conservitivly worth 150Mil fire sale price. This returns multiples of our current 22Mil market CAP.

So maybe pushing Hastie into receivership might net us a reward.

This is the old-brisconnections trick. When the share holders fight back against banks and they stand to loose a lot sometimes they roll over. Would love to hear from someone with a legal background or an accountant to prove or disprove this idea.
