Prospector, I think the reason redneck is saying that everyone on this forum is predicting gold to reach $5000 or $10000 or $20000 is because she wants to feel he is right that she's been calling gold $700 dollars for the last 3 or 4 years (that I know of, no I think it was $400 in the early days, but I remember he upped it to around $1100 or $1200 in a post not too long ago). $700 is closer to $1650 than than $5000 or $10000 so he considers himself the winner, even though we all know he has been the loser for the last 3 years or so. I don't mean the loser in monetary terms, I refer to the loser in pride and feel good terms. The vast majority on this forum have been calling gold to keep going higher over the last 3 or 4 years (not $5000 or $20000, just higher) and the vast majority have been right, and redneck has been wrong. Simple as that. But he will keep going, and thats good because she is the contrarian, the wise one, the traveller, the experienced, the wealthy one.
