Courtesy of all that accumulated debt, the creation of all those complex 'financial derivatives' that now dwarf reality etc. etc. the way forward is indeed challenging.
Posturing, demonising & marginalising appear to offer little by way of a constructive way forward & for all their limitations & failures at least some of our global structures & forums appear to be more focussed & productive than in the past.
Then again if we leave it all to governments you can be guaranteed we'll fail. As individuals we all need to enjoy our rights while fulfilling our responsibilities & being held to account for our actions.
