This is an extract from an article 26/4/12 about NMDC not looking at diamond mines:
"NMDC is not looking for buying diamond mines or deposits,” N.K. Nanda, chairman and managing director of NMDC, said in reply to emailed questions. “NMDC is presently focusing on minerals such as iron, coal and fertilizers, essentially required for food security of the country.”
