Freehold, The market usually gives a signal..We just need to be alert not to miss the 1st bell. Much safer to get onto the 1st or 2nd step of the ladder. Hard as we try, WE CAN NEVER PREEMPT THE MARKET. I have had a few 10 baggers,but NONE with a technically weak stock when I 1st bought. I also have quite a few "fundamentally" robust dogs that will stay as such for a looong time. I am not against FA...On the contrary I strive to buy undervalued stocks that are technically sound...at least not underperforming the market or their own sector.
