ongoing asic investigation

Hi all

Like a few others around here I have made numerous complaints to ASIC regarding various matters relating to PIF.

I made another round of calls last week as I have had limited reponse.

Talked to three people and have been promised a call back by another person more directly involved in ongoing investigation.

Despite the usual comments of not being able to comment on an ongoing investigation two of the people confirmed that their role was to do an initial investigation and then if they deem it appropriate refer it to the next team up who I gather have the power to actually take action.

The person who I have been promised a call back from will be someone within the current team dealing with ongoing investigation.

The positive I take from this is that it seesms ASIC officers have found enough to refer it up the food chain.

The negative is the time taken and as I kept pointing out that there will be nothing left after the ongoing sale of assets except ongoing litigation from disgruntled borrowers by the time ASIC does anything.
