Plonko as I have said a number of times, it is common knowladge in WA they have a shoratge of anything mining or G&O related hence delays, mainly because of the WA mining boom etc. Sorry but what is with you relating the drilling rigs issue with PDY as I have stated they are Gas and Oil drilling rigs (related to EGO etc)..I was giving a comparative example. In WA there is a shortage of available OIl\Gas deep drilling rigs to go around because of the boom in Gas and Oil exploration. I know this because I have stock in companies waiting for their release in order to start drilling.

I also know most of this because I actually attend mining\G & O expo's over in WA and talk to people. I read papers magazines etc etc. I retired 3 years ago (I am 40) and now I have a personal company playing the stock market (Mining and G & O) and looking after my investements.

For your info I have been in and out of the Mining/Gas and Oil industry for the last 16 years including WA and 4 years in the IT sector, always with the big boys BHPM and BHPP

There is a massive shortage in skilled\eductaed workers in the WA mining\G&O sectors.

Gary has mentioned a number of times that they are still awaiting the results, why do you think he hasn't announced something because there havn't been delays and Gary is keeping them to himself.

    Are you taking something????

Anyway.. here is something on WA and the mining Boom. Leading things is investement in equipement and man power etc etc

Western Australia's economic performance has moved even further ahead of other states and territories, a survey has found.

The latest State of the States report by Commsec found WA was leading the nation across five key indicators: economic growth; construction work; rates of employment; retail trade; and equipment investment.

The report measures those factors against decade-long averages for each state and territory.

Commsec economist Savanth Sebastian says Australia has moved from having an economy running at three speeds to one in which WA stands apart from the rest, as a result of the mining boom.

    Have fun all
