GY,
on their website their coal quality shows a best result at 17% ash for 17.7 Mj/kg. This is very low rank and I am almost certain uneconomic at that location. Sure you could mine it in India and China and feed into a nearby power station but to mine in Aust, transport 500km by rail plus port costs and then to ship 5,000km.........I just can't see it happening unless we see thermal coal prices doubling.
As I said on previous blogs I'll definitely wait on coal quality clarification before jumping in on this stock. This is not typical Galilee Basin coal. Check Hancock, Waratah, AMCI/Bandanna and others. Even in a blend with these coals you will only receive a price prorata on energy!
