As an outsider looking in, it continues to amaze me how the BOF is attempting to use small target tactics in government much as he successfully did in opposition and more so how the NSW voters and media are apparently letting him do so.
Just as the Krudd was able to put off making many hard decisions by setting up a multitude of enquiries and reviews when he first got in, the BOF seems to have enjoyed a similar extended honeymoon period.
Hopefully the conservative backbenches in Sydney show a little bit more backbone when it comes time to start making hard decisions than was shown by the faceless men and women of federal caucus.
Even if NSW continues to pretend they don't need the energy security of their own supplies surely it must be apparent they need the economic stimulus that would come from establishng a csg industry in the state (?).
