Sorry SunnyJim, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They are an ally of the US, meaning they work together for political reasons. The same as the yanks worked with Iraq in the past. We all know that the US is responsible for bringing Saddam to power.
In other words, the US doesn't care what these guys do to their own people, as long as they "kowtow to their every demand". When they stop doing this, the US will use whatever reason they can think of to force their will upon them. Including the way they treat their own people, which they previously turned a blind eye to.
It's all about the money, dummy.
I suggest you rethink your position until it becomes logical.
