GENERAL: MCK: MCK - Christchurch Update (4 May 2012)
Further to its 2011 Annual Report, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand
Limited advises that it has obtained updated structural assessments for its
two Christchurch Hotels within the current Red Zone. As a result, MCK
advises that:
--Copthorne Hotel Christchurch Central will not be accepting reservations
until further notice. Repair works have not yet started at the hotel.
--Reservations for Millennium Hotel Christchurch will not be accepted for
stays earlier than January 2014. Additional detailed inspections are being
completed currently.
