Spot on North, thats exactly what they will and should do. Extending option expiry date is one of the more ridiculous calls I've ever heard.

You buy oppies to increase exposure and hopefully get the benefit of the leverage they afford, but do so knowing they have an expiry date.

They don't entitle you to a slice of the company, just the option to buy one, and as such they don't give you any weight in having a say either.

They're great for the risk hungry, but if you get into oppies you have to understand what you're buying. Unfortunately, its apparent that some here haven't quite grasped that concept.

Exciting and I believe very re-rateable times for WHN ahead, but dont put an expiry date on it. As posts above have restated, these things take times, especially in O&G.
