i just noticed this sentence!

seems we were hotly discussing chronic shortage the other day!

"The median rent climbed 5 per cent or $20 a week in the March quarter, with the vacancy rate a tight 1.9 per cent."

( that means that the 'tightest' market in Oz has 2% of properties that are 'for rent and vacant'! ).........

........and for the doubters of the trend in property in WA and in whole of Oz:

"However, the negative trend has clearly turned. In June last year the annual fall in WA house prices was 6.6 per cent."

(i think zed327 did't fully read the article !...so much for positive outlook on property! lol)
