They're not even turning a profit from the NZ operations. And the numbers are getting worse by the quarter, perhaps it might be time to shut down those operations?

I certainly wouldn't be investing in this company for their NZ operations. I mentioned to the managers early last year that they should shut down the NZ mines because the returns were so poor; they thought their major problem was skill shortages because all the skilled NZ miners were flying to Australia - their suggested solution was to bump up employee wages to keep them in NZ... so they increased the wages, and what now? less productivity and more money burnt.
