It is not about pumping.
If the listing price is 30 cents and you have raised $30m and taken fees on that money as lead manager. If there are 4,000,000 shares from seed that want to exit day 1, it is your responsibility as lead manager to manage these sales so they don't smash the share price. i.e find a further $1m (not much considering you have raised $30m) to buy on market (at the listing price) and take out the seed sellers. A 10% drop is acceptable if the market is sketchy.... but half is appalling.
Bloody disgraceful lead manager behavior in my view. Clients of Austock should run for the hills.
