thanks again for persisting in this gold forum with your thoughts. the gold forum has had many tired threads of late comprising posts og either extreme bullish or bearish throughts with limited justification.
for mind I see gold maintaining a bullish longer term trend but as you point out the short term is a differnet picture. your short term assessment aligns well with the sell in may theory!
but ultiamtely much of this thread continues to talk USD priced gold - which irritates me. I buy (and sell) gold in AUD and for the moment I will continue to buy because gold priced in AUD is a play on the USD:AUD pair.
