Very, very easy to sit behind a keyboard in 2012 and criticise a decision made several years ago when the basket was way under current levels. Part of the decision making at that time would have been to insulate Lynas from lower prices and that should be respected as a point that balances some degree of sovereign risk.

Malaysia was smart enough to attract a business highly likely to both support their existing electronics industry and spawn further high tech while at the same time we enact a tax that will put most of our aluminium & steel processing out of business and throw money at a car industry with little economic future.
