Infrastructure sector: Indonesian Government will propose ASEAN Infrastructure Fund (AIF), a financial institution formed by the member countries of Asian Development Bank (ADB) to finance at least 4 infrastructure projects that consist of road constructions and geothermal projects. Road projects is part of the ASEAN connectivity project, such as the bridge connecting Malaysia-Indonesia in Sanggau, West Kalimantan, bridge connecting Indonesia-Singapore in Riau, Southern Kalimantan inter-provinces main road and Western Sumatra inter-provinces main road. The total value of the project, which will be funded by AIF reaches around US$60b, or a minimum of six projects per year with a loan ceiling of US$75m per project. AIF also commits to set the financing target up to $4b until 2020, or $13b when combined with the financing from ADB.
