You are correct, the gap I this instance would have very little influence on the specific share price but as a general rule, the price will endevour to fill all gaps. I only pointed it out because once the price got so close, it indicated to me it would close and for me was a buy level.
Lets hope hope these levels hold now, for all our sakes, gaps or no gaps ..........
