well, when it comes to employment numbers for example, countries supply the figures for the number of people who left the workforce giving up the search for work
often analysts point to an improvement in the unemployment numbers whilst completely ignoring the fact that it was people giving up which drove unemployment down
lets call those people who analyse things this way, oh i dont know, maybe, "the stupid people"
then there are people who dig a bit deeper in the numbers, realise that there are no stats on people who withdraw their house from sale in the real estate market and realise that trying to work out what a reduction of stock on market means right now, especially with falling credit numbers, I dont know, maybe its people giving up trying to sell, not unlike people giving up looking for a job
I would call those people who think this way, oh i dont know again, maybe say, "clever people"
