That was perpetual doing the rounds with the minmetals rumours (Minmetals would have ZERO intention of making a bid for Mirabela, they have Allegiance mining's nickel deposit in Tasmania on their books... and they've done nothing with that so far).

Perpetual hold so much stock in this company that they'd do anything to spruik it (and ruin their already dented reputation in the process).

The stock is falling to ZERO because there is no future value in the operations unless nickel prices pick up to about $12/lb. The company has more debt than what any sane person would pay for Santa Rita.
