You put forward the suggestion to contact the man. Why are you now getting abusive? Would have thought it a simple question, if you have contacted them, what is it that you gained out of your conversation that gives you the opinion we should be contacting them, 10 times a day if necessary? It's a serious question, that's why we have forums to share our knowledge and opinions.

You were also the one who suggested let me quote:

Sounds a bit hypocritical to me. Are you saying unless you agree with an opinion then it is just rubbish dribble?

Me, I have contacted many companies over time. On the whole I don't garner much that isn't already publicly available, in fact I find information brought up and discussed on Hotcopper far more valuable. The most valuable thing I gain out of talking to company directors is what I call the 'bulldust' factor. It is reasonably easy to tell those that have a genuine and passionate care for the company from those who just milk the company for their own benefit.
