re: Ann: Sale of Leichhardt Project for A$25m... Al1 , lets not forget that CFE is in teh business of buying businesses and selling them again. The cost of doing this is employing about 25 people. TS himself is on about $1mill I believe and these guys are frequently travelling the world doing these deals ( and not in cattle class I bet ). and how many such deals are being done on average.. about 1 per year? so how much of the cost of running this business are you going to deduct from the $25 mill you might have by 2014? if he does one such deal a year then lets put a years worth of running the business down as an expense, then include teh time value of money, $7.5 mill today is worth a lot more than $7.5 mill in 3 years ( cant remember when the $7.5 got paid out). When you look at the real costs, I would hardly call this selling for "multiples" as TS likes to put it.
