I often wonder how we would be sitting now as a nation if John Howard had handed the reins over to Peter Costello.

I'm sure people just wanted a change from Howard and fell for the Kevin 07 marketing campaign.

I feel Peter Costello had a good vision for the retirees and their superanuation which was going to support them in the latter years of life.

Maybe we should send him a text and see if he wants to give it another go and restore the mess that we have ended up in.
