Since I have less time to read and the junior sector is much tougher than it used to be, I pretty much focus only on Tony Locantro's Newsletter picks and some of the stocks he mentions in his mail outs.

Not part of his portfolio, but he did just happen to mention that Graphite was about to get a massive ramp and said that AXE was probably the best pick. 50% up within about 48 hours - not a bad call.

RNU - he was calling it around 4-5c - spiked to 9c the other day.
GSC - another double this year.
ERM - did not listen to him on that one - tripled
I tripled on ADE on his call also.

Not saying he gets the timing right on everything, but his plays are really smart, and no BS.

He backs management a lot, and you will find him covering stocks that nobody is else is talking about.

He once said to me " there are something like 960 odd gold stocks on the ASX and I know most of them" - that said, he is not a bug especially, more of an early to the bubble kind of guy with about 18 years experience.

Once I realized how much he knows the players and the game, I started to relax into his picks more and stopped trying to follow the HC threads looking for clues.

Totally fundamental, not easily shaken, you get the feeling that he has seen it all before. I don't think you will get his service for under 300 bucks in a few years from now.

I could go on, but most of you guys are smart enough to make up your own minds. Not sure if he still has the free trial on his website?
