I concur with pajm's post; nice balanced account by Mr debono from a losing perspective. Nic Nat was heavily missed more than anyone; when he is fit WCE will roll heavyweights on both sides of the Nullabor.

Competition really evened out. Start of the season looked like Cats, Pies, Hawks, Eagles with Blues pressing hard and not much else, but now none of these 5 might be in the GF.

Lots of shock results ahead. AFL dream as the comp really levels out.

Good to see Tigers win too Debono. Doggies win gives things a shake too.

But I'll be wagering heavily (at big prices) for the Dees and the Suns to open their account sooner rather than later. Easy money to be made. AFL need all teams competitive; strange how this subconsciously seems to inadvertently influence umpires and their decision making processes. (must be a name for this psychological effect).

I agree with most a great sesason awaits.

    Twirl them Bomber scarves!
