By comparison:

Even if the BM lignite/leonardite was commercial, a jorc of 2 billion tonnes would not satisfy the working life of power stations for Vic as the BM small deposit would run out before the viable life of a power station had been reached,,, and we all know Power station owners and builders are NOT charity organizations

,,,, that don't take into account a 5 to 7% increase in output requirement due to urban and industrial growth,,, which would mean BM only has about 12 to 15 yrs supply,,, IF it was zero sulpur,,, If the overburden was commercial to remove,,, if there was total community support,,, IF there were undertakings to build 3 new power stations that close to the ever spreading peri-urban zone of Melbourne,,, and about 50 more ifs

Very Iffy imo,,, stick with the LV model,,, as I do not see any plans for CHTD feasibility studies in the BM area either,,, nor do I see any commercial studies over and above lab tests on CHTD

,,,, where is the pilot/demonstration plant fwd planning studies for CHTD ?

BM IF all the Ifs line up,,, is literally decades down the track imro,,, but boutique in nature,,, not dis-similar to the Callejes bros ''boutique'' leonardite business at Maddingley,,,,, their Maddingley dump makes the lions share of their greenbacks,,, not the leonardite,, soil enhancer product exported to EU.

Meanwhile, the first COLDRY plant is only months away from commercial feasibility ( DFT 3 )
