"Dam this is like a re-run of 2008, the mine at Jabaru (IGO), I'm picking will close and Kagara already gone."
Kagara certainly doesnt look too good, but the IGO/Jabiru mine will survive, imo. At the peak of GFC1, with metal prices at all time low, the Jaguar mine was running cash-flow positive, & the CEO payed off $40 mill in debt.Mind you, the sp of JML fell to a low of 8.9c, before recovering to trade at 10-11c for some time. The Kagara sp was right down, too. MCR, from memory, was down to 40 odd cents. Metal prices recovered quickly due to China taking advantage & buying/stockpiling. I dont think that will happen this time, with China quietening somewhat. Mines will survive, but will shareholders? lol. What transpires in Europe in the very near future will determine whether the guts will fall out of everything in a big way. Scary.
