"Be fearful when other are greed" is not an old axiom it's part of a saying by Warren Buffet. The other part is "be greedy when others are fearful." The stock price tells you that the market is fearful. People ain't touchin this one for several reasons.
Stock forums are strange places. With certain stocks its like a Kung Fu movie. Haaa! My master's karate is better than your master's. Hayaa!! Chop! Chhop!
As if any of that has anything to do with the stock.
