There is a brief from Reuters on Oil exploration in Puntland and it seems there are challenges on the ground please see this:

There is also information we are getting from Addis Ababa that Africa oil and Horn petroleum have locked horns with the Farole regime on the next oil well after Shabeel-1 did not find the required oil - Dry.

Farole seems to have flown to India after the addis Ababa Fracas to look for other investors in his pirate infected fiefdom on the other side previous concession holders like ENI and Conoco have recently contacted the TFG and are looking at the forthcoming election at the Federal level before 20th August when a new powerful government will come to power and as the article says Somaliland and Puntland licenses might become null and Void.
