I cant believe people think a surplus is a benefit? (not taking a potshot at you ocka).If the government has extra money then they have charged us TOO much tax or have not spent it on us in Hospitals,infrastructure and such things.. look at the state of our electricity suppliers.
The whole idea of fiscal governence is to have a minimum deficit not a maximum profit.
And I agree that the best thing for Europe is to return to a economic independence.
but what do I know.
Plain a simple that HC does not have the answers.
