Bishkek (AKIpress) - Vice Prime Minister for Economy and Investments Joomart Otorbaev recommended mining companies improve contacts with population while talking at the round table discussion on Kyrgyzstan's investment attractiveness held on May 15 with heads of international donor agencies, reported Tazabek.

“As soon as you reach agreement with local communities, the government will immediately give permission for implementation of the project. We want that you will stay to work here, but we won't ignore opinion of people. Their opinion is our priority,” he said.

A representative of one of companies complained that the private sector in Kyrgyzstan encounters numerous problems. “Many companies encounter such difficulties as big risks and lack of law and order. Big investments are spent for implementation of projects. We submitted documents for extension of permits, but did not receive a reply yet. Perhaps, we won't work here,” he said.
