hanrahan, By saying "all of the above" implies that you regard the University of Melbourne's and CSIRO's scientists to be profoundly corrupt and profoundly stupid. They would have to be if they fiddle information and conclusions to fit a political agenda - they would be caught out sooner or later. And if they are using data inappropriately and ignore important factors they will also be found out sooner or later.
It also implies that you know more than they do about the subject.
Please correct me if I have misinterpreted you because if you are right then Australia's science (and hence Australia) is in a sorry state.
