That's so true.
Last time I went to Greece I took my dog and after a couple of weeks island hopping it got a bit difficult and I fell out of love with it so let it go at the Parthenon.
Lots of my UK friends take their pets to Greece on holiday and they also often leave them behind - it's very common.
