    There was an article on this in one of the fairfax papers a couple of weeks ago.

    A survey was done, something like 70% of city folk had considered the option, out of that 70% only 5% would actually go through with it. Those that made the move, generally stayed and enjoyed the lifestyle benefits.

    The governments have been out beating the drum for regional living. BUT, at the same time, cutting funding to regional tertiary education centres.

    And there's the snake oil.
