As far as I recall, AKK management advised the market that the results of the Taylor sand's would be completed and released to the market by the end of April.
This is 20 days overdue, not that that matters too much, delays are to be expected.
But I just realised reading over the latest information operational report which states this:
"The current focus for
Krueger #1 remains on optimising and analysing oil production, with gas from the Taylor formation currently
capped until the Northern Summer when gas prices have traditionally risen."
If AKK have capped this then surely the testing results must be complteted, if so why has the market not been advised of the results.
Or if the testing has not been completed, then how do the know there is gas of economical significance. Maybe I am missing something.
Also 14th of March 2012, is when the AKK spudded the first Eagle ford well, in the same operation report as above managment state:
"Texas - Birch Krueger #1 project at Eagle Ford Shale - commissioned and placed into production on May 1, 2012.
Well oil production includes 1 day at over 100 Bbl/d and 4 days over 60 Bbld"
Are they joking, one simple question I would like answered is:
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER 64 DAYS THE WELL HAS BEEN IN PRODUCTION!!!!
I note the have said :
"Temporary shut-downs have been
required for additional clean-up procedures."
Seems to me the clean up procedures are taking longer than the the drilling of Krueger #1it's self.
Either I am un fairly suspicious, or we are not being told everything.
After this realisation I am changing my sentiment back to none.
