About 18 months ago I switched my CRC shares plus other gold shares into NST.
What I found strange about CRC was the lack of commitment by the MD and other staff to relocate close to the mine site to live for goodness sake its not the Pilbara, its a nice little rural community close to the beach.
If they could not be commited to livng and breathing the project then neither could I with my hard earned, I took it up with one of them at the gold coast resource conference last year and was not impressed with his answers so happy with my decision.
Also I found the guy at the resource conference representing CRC didnt seem too enthusiastic about the project, there were other representatives from other companies there and one year on the guys who seemed keen on their projects have done ok while the ones who lacked emotion have had projects wither on the vine in general.
Ask yourself who would you rather have your money with someone like Bill Beument at NST with a mining background or someone like Peter van der Borgh who is a geologist.
at CRC, really at this stage in the companies evolvement into a producer they need a miner as a MD I feel.
Also I didnt find CRCs resource that great to me its too low grade from memory it runs around 8 grams a tonne and will probably dilute from that on the ROM given its narrow veins.
Anyway thats my feeling shoot me if you want.
