I reckon Fred is right.
As much as a renounceable rights issue would send a clear signal things are going well (ie assuming they are), it would simply take too long to organise and cash is too thin for that, so really it just leaves a placement under the 15% rule.
Another arguement for another day and thread is the fact the ASX wants to raise this limit to 25%.
Won't that do wonders for the retail investor ?
