The new Board appointee, Ian Ross, is strategically a great move forward in my opinion, given that he is based in the UK, the "heart" of VitroGro's initial European market.
Iain Ross, Bsc (Hons), Biochemistry is currently the Chairman of Pharminox Limited which is a UK company that was formed in 2002 as a spin-off from Oxford University.
Pharminox is engaged in the discovery, research and development of novel small molecule drugs to treat common forms of cancer. The company's "kitbag" includes a couple of "blockbuster" drugs, one of which was discovered by Pharminox's CSO Emeritus Professor Malcolm Stevens OBE FRS.
The Pharinox website indicates that Iain Rioss is " a highly experienced business entrepreneur with more than 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector".
