smeagen/others: Personally, I PREFER FAR to "just sit around some more and wait for the neighbours"!
The money is needed for seismic (which can be very costly -especially IF they cover substantial areas and not just "tiny bits") in both L6 and L9.
NO money should be wasted on any "early drill" activity. IF L8 will prove to be successful, then they can gear up towards a drill in L6 by bringing on-board (farming-in) an interested party that will have the capability to do off-shore drilling, whilst FAR can maintain a fairly large percentage. All strictly JIMHO, of course.

Very interesting times ahead off-shore East Africa. Already a lot of success happening now on-shore in Kenya.
