Kevin Rudd never claimed to be perfect. But he was & remains the overwhelming choice of the people.
The advent of Tony Abbott & Julia Gillard has delivered a grubby , highly combative & divisive political era that only their removal will cleanse.
If Rudd were to return the peoples' choice would be restored.
This highlits the need to develop a new constitution that provides for direct elections of local candidates by party branches & our supreme leaders via national elections.
We must end processes that usurp the will of the people & instead invest in poliies & judges.
