yes there is oil in the region
yes the reservoir is porous and permeable
but it is not an oil field
the trap was poorly defined (as noted by RPS) on one seismic line
if it existed the trap was small
If Neil wants to put his (your) money where his mouth is, he would have been better off shooting a 3-d seismic survey to carefully identify the targets before he comitted to drill
