So you think rents up is a good thing?

Don't go there - if negative gearing stops, investors will simply pass on the cost of the loan to you, the tennant. This would not be a good thing for the part of our population on average wages.

BTW - expect 5 mill + people migrating into OZ by 2030.

Private property investment is needed, negative gearing will stay.
