25 years time buyer has home paid for. 25 years time renters woes will be exponentially larger. By then you will be paying well north of over $2000 per week for a dingy old home in a crime riddled city. Owner will be debt free plus have largely pegged his repayment for 25 years. No comparison. If renter lives another 25 years beyond that he will really see the benefits of compounding rental increases - just absurd!
