We are in the green today despite a terrible market - very positive. I'm posting the following comments as relevant to Australia and LNG, and bodes well for our NT assets - the Japanese can't get enough Australian LNG apparently (and they are not going back to nuclear anytime soon):

"Australia was the top supplier of liquefied natural gas to Japan in April, surpassing Qatar and Malaysia, Japanese government data showed. Japan imported 1.28m tonnes of LNG from Australia in April, an increase of 43% from the same month a year earlier, the Ministry of Finance said. Qatar ranked second at 1.08m tonnes and Malaysia third at 1.01m tonnes, the data showed. However, Qatar remained the largest exporter of LNG to Japan during the first four months of the year, shipping 5.8m tonnes, an increase of 77% from the same period last year, data showed. Malaysia exported 5.5m tonnes to Japan during the first four months of the year, a decline of 3.3% from the same period last year, and Australia shipped 4.5m tonnes of LNG to Japan, unchanged on year, the data showed. Japan's demand for LNG soared as it idled its nuclear reactors after last year's massive earthquake and tsunami and the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. Japan's natural gas consumption surged 27% in the fiscal year to 31 March, helping the country avoid major power shortages last summer. Nuclear power provided 30% of Japan's electricity generation before the earthquake. All of the nation's reactors have been offline since 5 May. The jump in Japan's LNG imports from Australia coincided with the start of shipments from the Pluto LNG project in Western Australia, led by Woodside Petroleum (WPL), which has supply contracts with a number of Japanese utilities, including Tokyo Gas. Woodside said that production at Pluto began in late April and two cargoes had been shipped to customers in Asia. It didn't specify the destinations. The LNG terminal was operating at 65% of capacity in May, more than three times the level planned, Woodside said."
